The state concern Ukroboronprom has signed a cooperation agreement with the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, which envisages the launch of the School of Professional Development of Design Engineers and the training program for design engineers named after O. Antonov. This is stated in the message of the state concern "Ukroboronprom".

According to Yuriy Gusev, General Director of Ukroboronprom, the issue of training personnel for the future defense-industrial complex of Ukraine lies in the field of cooperation with higher education institutions.

"Today we are signing an agreement that will start the School of Professional Development of Design Engineers. This course will take into account the latest trends and tendencies in scientific and technical development, in innovative developments that exist in the world, so that the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine becomes more competitive, "said Yuri Gusev.

It is expected that the School's course will be based, in particular, on such disciplines as systems engineering, systems analysis, innovative enterprise development and innovation project management.

"Regarding aviation, namely the training program for design engineers, we are currently working out more detailed plans together with the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which have traditionally trained such engineers for the aviation industry," said Yuri Gusev. As you know, recently the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed to create and launch a special training program for Antonov design engineers within three months.
